Taishi Wen Zhong led the army of Shang Dynasty including Deng Chanyu and four generals of the Mo Family to Xiqi. With the help of Kunlun immortals such as Jiang Ziya, Ji Fa led the army and civilians of Xiqi to defend their homeland.

Production Leadership

Partnered with the VFX Supervisor and Producer to define key effects sequences, tentpole shots, and production priorities while aligning show goals across departments.

Mentored Production Coordinators on studio workflows, scheduling practices, and production tracking systems while supporting onboarding and day-to-day production operations.

Anticipated staffing needs and resource allocation changes based on evolving creative direction, editorial updates, and production development throughout the show lifecycle.

Oversaw end-of-show wrap processes with key artists, Production Services, and Editorial teams, including how-to breakdowns, documentation, and marketing support materials.

Cross-Department
& Technical Collaboration

Led cross-department coordination for the development of the “HunTianSash” hero asset, including multiple sash simulation and transformation variations used throughout the production.

Worked closely with technical and creative teams to establish workflows for hero asset integration, balancing visual performance, render optimization, and shot-specific creative requirements.

Supported the development and implementation of four distinct hero sash systems, including ribbon, shield, shield-forming, and belt variations, ensuring seamless collaboration between asset, FX, CFX, animation, and lighting teams.

Scheduling & Operations

Created and managed master production schedules, ensuring show priorities and delivery milestones were accurately reflected across department schedules and artist assignments.

Managed client deliveries, incoming turnovers, review materials, and production communications to maintain smooth production flow and on-time submissions.

Prepared and facilitated client review sessions, organized review agendas, and ensured feedback and notes were clearly communicated to artists and department teams.
